Occupational Health Nurse
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm
Location: Colworth, Chichester
Salary: £35,000 – 38,0000 per annum, depending on experience
MAIN OBJECTIVES
1. Practice within the scope of the NMC professional practice and Code of Conduct and to work according to qualification, experience, and competency.
2. To ensure clinical standards of best practice are followed and company policies and procedures are adhered to.
3. To fully utilise company IT systems in the performance of duties.
4. To undertake health surveillance/medicals/health promotion activities as required.
5. Perform Phlebotomy and vaccinations.
6. Undertake supervised training in relation to case management in a development role.
7. To act as an ambassador and promote the Occupational Health services available.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE
8. RN Qualification and active NMC registration.
9. Experience in Occupational Health.
10. Experience in case management.
11. Trained in or available for training to undertake Fitness for work Medicals and Health surveillance.
12. Trained in or available for training in drug and alcohol testing.
13. Trained in or available for training in undertaking ECG assessments.
14. Experience in vaccinations and phlebotomy.
15. Trained in or available for training to undertake the screening of Placement and other Online health questionnaires.
16. Opportunity to undertake studies in the field of Occupation Health.
17. Developing skills in identifying workplace hazards and impact of health on work and vice versa.
18. Experience of attending, presenting, and hosting client Wellness and health promotion days.
19. Insight and desire to develop skills and knowledge within OH field.
