We are entering a significant phase of development as we progress on the transition to becoming and independent organisation and strengthening our care service teams to match our ambition. We combine the ethos of the third sector with the discipline of a modern, well‑run organisation.

Our culture is grounded in respect, accountability, and a shared commitment to doing the right thing. We support our staff to grow, contribute, and lead with confidence. We value professionalism, kindness, and the ability to work with purpose.

About the role

Glasgow’s Self‑Directed Support service delivers flexible, outcome‑focused support to adults living independently within their own homes throughout the north west of Glasgow. The service is designed around the individual, offering personalised support that reflects each person’s priorities, preferences and aspirations.

We work with people who have a diverse range of support requirements, including mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and other neurodivergent conditions, physical impairments, acquired brain injuries, substance‑related support needs, and age‑related conditions such as frailty or memory loss.

Our local teams are based in the west of Glasgow, particularly within the Maryhill and Whiteinch communities. This local presence enables staff to provide responsive, consistent support while developing strong connections with the people we support and the wider community.
