Corporate & Commercial Associate – 1-4 PQE

A historic and well regarded Legal 500 firm, is looking for a junior Associate to join their thriving and Legal 500 Corporate/Commercial team. With a quickly growing number of Solicitors a, this mid-sized law firm handles a a high quality client base including reputable and high-value national companies.
This role offers a varied opportunity to work on high value corporate and commercial matters including M&A, corporate advisory, and commercial contracts with a high-level of responsibility and excellent opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a varied caseload of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, commercial contract negotiation and drafting, corporate advisory, shareholder and partnership agreements, and NDAs,
* Assisting senior Solicitors and Partners with higher value matters and contributing to the development of the team,
* Building relationships with clients and maintaining the highest standard of care while ensuring full compliance,
* Developing skills internally and growing with the firm while gaining greater responsibility.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* UK qualified solicitor of 1-4 PQE, with excellent post-qualification experience from a well-recognised firm (other levels will be considered on an individual basis),
* A strong understanding of corporate and commercial law, with experience handing M&A and commercial contracts,
* Strong academic background, ideally with a 2:1 degree or above,
* Excellent communication skills with colleagues and members of staff,
* High levels of attention to detail.
