Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Fast Falls Response LTD in Ferndown and surrounding areas. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing personalized care that promotes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of elderly clients. Your contributions will help us uphold our mission of delivering exceptional home care services.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs
* Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and families
* Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities
* Monitor and report changes in clients' health status
* Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for clients
* Administer medication as prescribed and assist with mobility
* Maintain accurate records of client care and progress
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
* Qualifications
* Previous experience in elderly care or similar role is preferred
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families
* Knowledge of care plans and home care practices
* Ability to drive is a plus but not mandatory
* Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
* Basic IT skills for record-keeping purposes are beneficial but not required
* Compassionate nature with a commitment to person-centered care
* Willingness to undergo further training as needed
