We are looking for amercially driven Procurement Officer to join this ambitious Public Sector organisation in London.As the Procurement Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's approach to Category Management and supporting strategic priorities.This is a brilliant opportunity to lead procurement projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring quality, efficiency, and savings across a wide range of goods and services.In this role you will:
1. Lead and manage procurement projects at PCR levels and above
2. Deliver Category Plans in collaboration with Category Managers and Advisors
3. Analyse spend data and benchmark against best practices
4. Develop streamlined procurement systems and maintain guidance materials
5. Provide training and support on e-tendering and self-service procurement models
6. Ensurepliance with the Public Procurement Act and Council policies
We are looking for
7. Proven experience in procurement
8. Strong understanding of procurement legislation andernance
9. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
10. Ability to analyseplex data and present actionable insights
