About the Role
You’ll work at the intersection of research, engineering, and applied innovation, transforming ideas into intelligent systems and prototypes. This role is open to both early-career and experienced candidates - what matters most is your ability, curiosity, and output.
You’ll design, develop, and deploy AI and ML solutions, from foundational model experimentation to production-grade prototypes. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Innovation and a team of experienced engineers, researchers, and product leaders to bring ambitious ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and deploy prototypes that deliver real business or research value.
* Lead model experimentation, evaluation, and creative prototyping.
* Implement and extend recent AI/ML research into functional systems.
* Operate across the stack: data pipelines, model training, API development, and intuitive interfaces.
* Introduce new tools, frameworks, and research directions to the team.
* Foster a culture of speed, curiosity, and experimentation.
* Enjoy autonomy, ownership, and creative freedom—your ideas will have visible impact.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong fundamentals in statistics, probability, mathematical modeling, and computational thinking.
* Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, optimization, architectures, and evaluation.
* Experience with data engineering workflows, including ETL, pipeline design, and feature extraction.
* Proficiency in Python and libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face, LangChain, and OpenAI/Anthropic APIs.
* Familiarity with DevOps & tooling (Git, CI/CD, API integration), front‑end & visualization (Streamlit, Gradio, React), and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
* Experience with vector and graph databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Neo4j).
* Understanding of model evaluation metrics and automation techniques.
* Awareness of AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
* Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
