Contract Type: 6 Months Fixed Term
Hours: Full Time 37 hours per week
Working Style: Agile Hybrid Worker
Location of post: Port Talbot Civic Centre, Port Talbot, SA13 1PJ
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team.
The successful candidate will assist in the inputting of Invoices to help ensure a timely and accurate production of all Creditor runs, associated work and compliance with all related legislation.
The main duties of the post;
1. To acquire a sound knowledge of rules and regulations that ensures the provision of a professional and accurate payments service with regard to the Council’s creditors, staff travel and subsistence claims, foster carers and adoption allowances
You will have experience in/of;
2. Working as part of a team in a financial setting with strict deadlines.
3. Good keyboard skills and ability to adapt to new computer systems
Ideally you will have;
4. Proven experience working with Oracle and/or Local Government would be beneficial.
