An energetic and inclusive primary school in Rumney, Cardiff is looking for a Sporty Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the school with both classroom learning and physical activity. Key Responsibilities:
* Support class teachers with day-to-day learning activities and classroom management.
* Lead and assist with PE lessons, sports clubs, games, and outdoor learning sessions.
* Engage children in physical activities that promote teamwork, resilience, and well-being.
* Work 1:1 or with small groups to build confidence and develop social/emotional skills through sport.
* Assist with classroom duties, behaviour support, and transitions throughout the day.
* Contribute to school events, sports days, and enrichment opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A passion for sport, movement, and active learning.
* Experience working with children (in schools, coaching, youth work, or sports settings).
* A positive, motivating presence with excellent communication skills.
* The ability to encourage and engage pupils of all abilities and backgrounds.
* A relevant qualification in sport, education, or child care is desirable.
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
