JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our engineering consultancy firm in person in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals to ensure the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. The Project Director will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of project management, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and client communication. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and strategic leader to make a significant impact in the engineering industry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and direct the overall project management process from inception to completion.
* Establish project goals, objectives, and timelines, and ensure they are met within the specified budget and scope.
* Manage and coordinate project teams, including engineers, architects, and other professionals, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
* Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project execution and delivery.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements and compliance are met.
* Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues, and proposing solutions as needed.
* Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues and develop contingency plans to ensure project delivery remains on track.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, systems, and methodologies.
MUST NOTE:
* A suitable candidate must be willing to relocate to and work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
* The company shall provide benefits such as medical insurance and bear the responsibility of sponsoring and covering the expenses of obtaining a work visa for the potential candidate pertaining to Saudi laws and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
* 10+ years of proven experience in project management roles within the engineering or construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects
* PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization is a plus.
* Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, with a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, senior management, and project teams
* Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Proven ability to navigate and resolve conflicts, negotiate effectively, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
* Proven proficiency in construction management softwares.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency with industry-standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software programs.
* High proficiency in English Language skills.

Salary: £6,302.69-£8,403.59 per month
