The Technical Design Manager will lead a team of M&E designers and Sector Material Experts, providing both pre- and post-contract support to the division and clients, including design and expert advice.

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver all design and advisory services to internal and external stakeholders.
2. Manage technical resources within the Energy Division.
3. Manage appointed technical resources both within and outside the organisation.
4. Develop and maintain competence and credibility.
5. Set and drive departmental KPIs and challenge improvement initiatives.
6. Provide leadership, governance, and direction to ensure staff safety, engagement, focus, development, and performance.
7. Contribute to the development of the Energy Division.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Enhanced DBS clearance.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Technically competent, delivering relevant, compliant, and commercially viable technical solutions.
* Understanding of the entire project life cycle.
* Strong knowledge of the Building Services industry, including alternative energy sources.
* A recognised degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably with CIBSE membership.
* Proficiency with MS Office, CAD, BIM, and related design software.
* Minimum of 15 years’ experience in design and construction within a similar industry role.
