You will take responsibility for site Health & Safety and the performance of subcontractors across all projects located on the base, ensuring delivery against schedule, effective issue management, and clear liaison with both the building users and the project management team. This role requires a proven track record of delivering refurbishment and new build projects within highly regulated environments. Experience gained with a Tier 1 contractor and previous exposure to MoD sites will be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors on site. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to programme. Review and prepare site reports, designs and drawings. Conduct regular quality and safety inspections. Act as the focal point for all construction activities during project delivery. Provide tool box talks and ensure compliance across the supply chain. Manage subcontractor performance in relation to HSE and environmental obligations, including reporting, close calls (near misses), and statistics. Work collaboratively with the client, end users and the wider project team. Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years' experience with a Tier 1 contractor. Proven background in commercial site management. Previous experience working on MoD or other highly regulated sites. Demonstrated ability to manage site safety and subcontractor performance. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications & Requirements DV Clearance Sole UK National, eligible and willing to undergo additional security clearance. SMSTS, CSCS Card Holder, First Aid (in date). HSEQ trained with one or more of the following: NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely Asbestos Awareness / Management Legionella Awareness / Management Recognised Temporary Works Qualification (CITB).
