Service Manager – Extra Care Unit
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable care organisation for an experienced Service Manager to oversee and lead high-quality, person-centred services in the Bolton area.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage day-to-day service delivery, ensuring high standards of care
* Deliver outcome-focused, person-centred support in line with best practice
* Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and local authority requirements
* Manage, support, and develop staff through supervision, appraisal, and training
* Oversee audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders
* Support individuals to access community opportunities and develop independence
* Handle employee relations matters including absence, performance, and investigations
* Participate in on-call duties as required
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Service Manager or similar leadership role within health & social care
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards and relevant legislation
* Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding practices
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
