Process Engineer Industrialisation & Manufacturing SystemsLocation: CheshireSector: Aerospace / Advanced ManufacturingContract: 9 Month contract Inside IR35Pay rate: £32.13ph Umbrella or £24.01ph PAYEAbout the RoleWe are supporting a major aerospace programme in the appointment of a Process Engineer to play a key role in embedding industrial and manufacturing requirements into product design right from the early development phases.This position sits at the heart of concurrent engineering, working closely with Design, Industrial Architecture, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure robust, efficient, and production ready solutions are delivered. You'll be involved from initial principles through to handover into serial production, leveraging the latest digital manufacturing technologies including 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain Industrial Dossiers and documented build processes up to handover into the serial planning phaseInfluence product design to ensure manufacturability, cost, quality, and lead-time objectives are achievedDerive manufacturing process instructions concurrently alongside product designReview, influence, and support approval of the Design Data Set (DDS)Drive manufacturing maturity for new technical and industrial solutionsSupport the development and evolution of the Manufacturing SystemProduce Component Delivery Specifications (CDS)Work closely within Multi-Functional Teams (MFTs) to identify, analyse, and resolve technical and industrial issuesSupport Manufacturing Engineering inputs to Calls for Tender, including tooling and industrialisation packagesEnsure compliance with Health & Safety standards and regulationsAbout YouStrong knowledge of wing manufacturing and aerospace production processesExperience developing build philosophies, industrial dossiers, and work instructionsConfident interrogating engineering drawings, specifications, tooling, and technical documentationGood understanding of product development and design to manufacture processesExperience working within multi-functional engineering environmentsComfortable influencing stakeholders across design, manufacturing, and supply chainExposure to digital manufacturing tools, ideally 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)Organised, delivery focused, and able to manage multiple prioritiesWhy ApplyOpportunity to work on a high profile aerospace programmeStrong visibility across design, manufacturing, and industrial teamsExposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and digital toolsCompetitive rate or salary depending on experienceCollaborative and technically challenging environmentInterested?If you'd like to discuss the role in confidence or receive further details, apply below!This vacancy is being advertised by Belcan
