HumanitiesTeacher- Philosophy & Religious Studies and History

Contract: Full Time/Part time
Salary: MPS/UPS + fringe
Start Date: February 2026/Easter 2026
Responsible To: Subject Lead

Are you an exceptional teacher who wants to be part of a happy, supportive and forward thinking school, and can contribute to improving the lives of our fantastic students? We seek to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher who can deliverKS3 and KS4 PRS, and KS3 in another Humanties subject Ability to teach PRS to KS5 would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will:

* have an excellent knowledge and academic background in PRS along with other Humanities subjects

* be a proven outstanding practitioner, qualified to teach PRS and at least one other Humanities subject to the highest standard

* show innovation and determination to ensure all our students receive a first class education

* make significant contributions to both the department and whole school vision

Tring School is very popular and over-subscribed, serving the town of Tring and the surrounding villages. It is a mixed Church of England comprehensive school with over 1600 students on roll including 400 in the Sixth Form. Academic attainment is well above average and improving year on year. The school strives to support and encourage individual growth within a caring community. We have a talented team of staff who are ambitious to become outstanding in all areas of our work.

We are proud to be joined by two local Primary schools in our closely formed MAT, The Ridgeway Learning Partnership, where we create a seamless educational journey from ages 3-19.
