Position: Operations Manager (Leisure Centre)
Location: Leisure Centre, Highgate
Salary: £30,000 (£34,800 with full pension flex benefit)
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager or Duty Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-end Leisure Centre in Highgate. The facilities include a gym, swimming pool, sports hall, studios, and sports pitches. The ideal candidate will have experience in the leisure industry and be highly motivated.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and implement operational standards in liaison with the General Manager.
* Manage daily operations, ensuring health & safety compliance.
* Plan and execute operational strategies within budget.
* Coordinate with maintenance teams on building upkeep.
* Assist in managing events, camps, and courses to enhance income.
* Develop business strategies to maximize the facility's potential.
Candidate Requirements
* National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
* Pool Plant Operator qualification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
* First Aid Qualification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
* Strong organizational and administrative skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Flexible to work shifts across 7 days, including early mornings and late evenings.
Additional Information
This role offers good progression opportunities. Flexibility is essential due to shift timings starting at 6am and ending at 10pm. The candidate should be outgoing and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
