Focused Improvement Manager (site based in Kings Lynn) – Mars, King’s Lynn, England, United Kingdom

What Are We Looking For?
* A degree-level education with exceptional numeracy, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
* Relevant experience in a production or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) environment.
* Previous line management experience is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team motivation and development.
* Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
* Fluency in both written and spoken English.
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.
* This role is based on-site in King’s Lynn.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the MSE (Manufacturing Strategy Execution) program, acting as the Focused Improvement (FI) pillar lead, coaching pillar leaders and team members.
* Drive alignment between short-term business goals and long-term strategic objectives using VLS (Value Leadership System) tools and loss analysis to continuously improve performance.
* Identify and address chronic and sporadic losses through close collaboration with Operations and Maintenance, leveraging data to guide improvement.
* Oversee the Site Masterplan development and deployment with Global IE and local leadership. Represent Supply in ATG (Activity Task Group) initiatives related to Innovation and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).
* Manage the Site Investment CAB (Capital Allocation Board) in partnership with technical and global stakeholders.
* Lead and develop Associates across Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Focused Improvement, and PPPI (Process, Product, Packaging Implementation).
* Promote and expand the use of MSE tools to enhance Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Reliability.
* Drive standard work processes and collaborate with Finance on the annual Operating Plan.
* Train and mentor Associates in structured problem-solving methods (e.g., EDPS, BDE, Six Sigma), ensuring alignment with regional and global MSE teams and standards.
* Ensure successful implementation and handover of new products and processes to Operations.
