South Uttlesford Primary Care Network (PCN) are looking for a self-motivated and forward thinking paramedic to cover maternity leave working across 4 of our South Uttlesford practices and local population on a full-time basis. This is a 12 month contract to commence in March 2026. The role will operate across a neighbourhood of five practices, providing specialist paramedic resources and supporting the delivery of PCN service objectives. Main duties of the job: Work as an autonomous, accountable Paramedic, providing a holistic approach including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to deliver high-quality patient services. Work closely together, and as part of a wider multi-disciplinary PCN workforce including pharmacists and social prescribers Use advanced clinical skills to provide education to patients and service users, promoting self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment. Assess, diagnose, treat, refer, or signpost patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness or injury, supported by senior clinicians as needed.
