Bouygues UK is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a £30 million refurbishment project as part of the International Sports Village (ISV) in Cardiff. This residential project is for a housing association.
Job Purpose and Scope:
You will be responsible for maximizing the commercial results and cash position of projects by delivering optimal profit performance against internal budgets. Manage the procurement of sub-contractors and oversee their financial and contractual management. Prepare and agree on interim valuations with the client and facilitate the agreement of variations as work progresses, utilizing company tools. Collaborate with the project manager and other team members.
* Previous experience must include working with a main contractor
* Experience in producing financial reports, including forecasts, net margins, and activity reports
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
* Ability to promote the training and development of graduates and assistant QS’s
* Solid understanding and management of company reporting timetables, tools, and procedures

* Management of graduate and assistant surveyors
