Harris Hill is excited to partner with Keech Hospice in searching for an experienced and visionary Head of Partnership Giving.
Keech Hospice Care is investing in the future with an ambitious new fundraising strategy, and we are seeking a strategic and driven leader to develop and grow our high-value partnerships portfolio. As the newly created Head of Partnership Giving, you will craft and implement a strategy to secure transformational support from corporates, charitable trusts, and foundations, ensuring sustainable income for adults, children, and their families across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes with life-limiting conditions.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Supporter Engagement, the Head of Partnership Giving will lead a passionate team of five, nurture existing relationships, and proactively identify new opportunities.
This role aims to generate £1.5m annually, with a focus on growing High Value partnership income to £2.2 million annually over the next three years. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Personal Giving to align strategies and share insights.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, motivated, and creative leader with experience in cultivating meaningful, long-term partnerships, understanding funding priorities, and developing compelling support proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Shape and deliver Keech's partnership income strategy, focusing on securing high-value, long-term support.
* Lead the Corporate and Trusts team to develop a pipeline of support, meet financial targets, and identify growth opportunities.
* Create compelling cases for support and winning proposals for corporate partnerships, multi-year grants, and campaigns.
* Analyze fundraising performance and recommend strategic improvements.
* Represent Keech externally at networking events across three counties.
* Ensure data-driven decision-making, reporting, and continuous improvement in partnership activities.
Requirements:
* Proven success in securing and growing six/seven-figure gifts and managing relationships with high-value partners in the charity, commercial, or related sectors.
* Excellent written communication skills, capable of crafting compelling donor proposals.
* Strong leadership experience with a track record of building high-achieving teams.
* Excellent organizational, planning, and budget management skills.
* Confidence and credibility in engaging senior stakeholders, including board members, corporate leaders, and trust funders.
