The Business;
The business are a precision machining business, supplying complex parts into the motorsport and high-end automotive industry. They specialise in jig and fixture component machining, as well as assembly of these complex jigs. They have multiple sites, but this one is working from their Milton Keynes site.
The role;
You will be working 50% of your time in the CNC milling section and 50% of your time in CNC Turning. Whilst milling, you will be working on state of the art 5 axis machines producing low volume, high precision parts. When you are in Turning, you will be working on a completely brand-new lathe! The batch work here is slightly larger, but the parts are just as crucial.
What is required;
5 Axis CNC milling experience working on either Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
CNC turning experience - being able to set up and operate the lathes
Knowledge of working to tight tolerances
Being able to carry out some basic inspection and finishing off of the parts produced
