The role
As a HR Advisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be a trusted partner to our operational teams, delivering expert guidance on employee relations and supporting line managers to drive performance and engagement. This is a dynamic opportunity to make a real impact—enhancing employee experience, resolving ER issues and embedding HR initiatives that shape the future of our workforce.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
1. Advising line managers and employees on HR and ER matters such as absence, performance and investigations
2. Delivering HR projects including consultations, engagement activities and training
3. Supporting policy implementation and change management initiatives
4. Collaborating with the HR Business Partnering team on ad hoc tasks
5. Acting as a role model for Babcock’s values and principles
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days in the office/onsite and two days working from home.
Essential experience of the HR Advisor:
6. Providing Employee Relations advice and employment law guidance
7. Interpreting and implementing corporate policies
8. Working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
9. Leading local change management initiatives
10. Navigating unionised environments with confidence

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
