The position is suited for a Furniture Designer who is technically minded and highly organised to support the delivery of complex, high-level pieces, translating creative intent into functional, fabricated works ranging from sculptural furniture to collectible design.
They will be working closely with artists and the internal technical team to move projects from concept through to installation. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, coordinating with suppliers and fabricators, overseeing logistics, and carrying out quality control checks. The role also involves maintaining the presentation of the studio and assisting with installations and warehouse visits as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical production or fabrication setting, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence managing multiple projects across varying timelines. A good understanding of materials such as bronze, wood, resin, and stainless steel is essential.
They should be proficient in Rhino for CAD drawing and technical documentation. This role requires someone proactive, adaptable, and comfortable taking on both administrative and physical aspects of production.
