Your Role

We are seeking a high‑performing Account Manager (Senior Sales Representative) to promote our engineering & digital services* portfolio and drive growth across the UK Nuclear sector.

*Capgemini impressive Engineering’s capabilities in Applied Computational Science, Digital Continuity & Manufacturing, Connectivity & Networks, Experience Engineering, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering & Production Design, Mechanical, Electrical & Plant Engineering.

This role is a critical growth hire**, focused on expanding our footprint with major Nuclear customers and positioning Capgemini as a long‑term digital transformation, construction and engineering partner. You will be accountable for a portfolio of established and build new client relationships, build deep relationships within both programme delivery and senior stakeholders to open new business channels across an exciting growing sector.

**With the Nuclear market now a strategic priority for Capgemini — supported by recent acquisitions (such as SEIMAF) and senior leadership investment — this is a truly exciting time to join and shape our presence in a rapidly expanding industry.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Sector Leadershipx

1. Shape and execute a long‑term customer focussed account strategy to deliver profitable growth
2. Position Capgemini Engineering as a trusted, strategic partner by leveraging strong domain understanding in nuclear engineering, digital transformation and regulatory environments.
3. Identify opportunities to bring new digital programme, engineering, manufacturing and construction capabilities into key customer programmes.

Relationship Management

4. Build and nurture long‑term relationships with senior executives and technical leaders across customer organisations.
5. Develop a reputation as an collaborative, reliable and proactive partner who understands customer challenges and ambitions.
6. Expand stakeholder networks across multiple business units, sites and programme teams.

Business Development

7. Create, qualify and progress opportunities that showcase Capgemini’s engineering & digital services.
8. Drive growth from initial smaller consultancy packages (<500k) to large‑scale, multi‑year service agreements (£5m+/annum) by building trust, credibility and consistent value delivery.
9. Coordinate with solution architects, delivery teams and global experts to shape differentiated proposals, to position and win high‑impact deals.

Account Operations

10. Lead cross‑geography and cross‑business‑unit collaboration to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
11. Maintain strong governance, reporting and pipeline management to support business visibility and forecasting.
12. Act as a “voice of the customer” inside Capgemini, ensuring we remain front‑of‑mind when clients make major buying decisions.

Your Profile

13. Proven experience of selling Core Engineering & Innovation, Digital Transformation, Digital Engineering, Novel Solutions ideal.
14. Strong network and customer intimacy within the UK Nuclear sector.
15. Track record of shaping and winning large engineering / technology‑enabled programmes.
16. Confidence a negociating, closing deals and extending contracts
17. Comfortable managing multiple customers in parallel, each with unique regulatory, technical and operational challenges.
