Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Foods section, where you\'ll champion our high-quality products, great value offers, and excellent customer service. We\'re seeking passionate individuals who take pride in their knowledge of M&S Food products and are excited to share it with our customers. You\'ll be a brand ambassador who is ready to recommend our newest Food products, and through remarkable service you\'ll ensure customers feel valued every time they shop with us.
Work Pattern: Tuesday 16:00–20:00, Wednesday 16:00–20:00, Thursday 16:00–20:00, Friday 16:00–20:00.
Being digitally confident is essential. You\'ll utilise our digital tools, such as the Sparks App and in-store devices, to enhance the customer experience and ensure they get the products they want when they need them. Being a team player is crucial, helping create a great, inclusive store environment and supporting your colleagues and the local community. Flexibility is vital; you should be confident to work across various areas of the store and adapt to changing retail demands.

Purpose
To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, we are looking for colleagues who put customers before tasks every time whilst championing and promoting our brilliant products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers helping us to continually improve.
Key Accountabilities
* Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
* Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked with product
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
* Receive training to utilise all digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time
