Flintstone Technology is a dynamic engineering company based in Dundee, Scotland, specializing in the design and manufacture of innovative permanent mooring solutions for the global energy sector. Since its founding in 2012, Flintstone has built a reputation for delivering high-performance solutions including hull and seabed connectors and tensioning systems. Now part of the Bekaert Group, Flintstone operates with the agility of a small team—currently around 16 employees—while benefiting from the backing of a global industrial leader. The company fosters a collaborative and forward-thinking culture, where every team member plays a vital role in driving innovation and delivering excellence to clients worldwide. Purpose and Mission As a Senior Sales Manager, you will play a key role in accelerating Flintstone’s growth within the mooring and heavy lifting markets across oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors. Building on our strong reputation, you will drive project sales, expand our services offering (testing, inspection), and help shape a long‑term, sustainable business model in alignment with the General Manager. This role is part of the Flintstone Management Team and requires a proactive, solution‑selling mindset. Key Activities and Responsibilities Business Development & Market Insight Marketing & Brand Development Collaboration & Representation Commercial & Sales Execution Drive sales of existing products and capabilities, engaging early with project teams, particularly on technically demanding projects. Prepare high‑quality bids and proposals for existing products or product modifications, in collaboration with the technical team. Identify requirements for additional engineering support to successfully deliver opportunities. Forecast sales and support business planning in partnership with the General Manager. Collaborate with Bekaert colleagues to maximize cross‑business opportunities. Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities, working closely with Business Development. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, energy companies, and key marine/offshore stakeholders. Provide continuous market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback. Develop Flintstone’s market presence, including promotional material, conference/exhibition participation, social media and website activity. Contribute to strategic goal‑setting and support execution of the agreed business strategy. Work effectively with global sales agents (e.g., Brazil). Develop sales plans that foster cross‑unit cooperation and cross‑selling across the Bekaert group. Qualifications And Experiences Preferred Required Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical discipline (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the marine offshore market. Solid understanding of contractors and energy company ecosystems. Excellent relationship‑building abilities, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel internationally. Broad understanding of project execution processes (pre‑FEED to final delivery). Familiarity with mooring systems and heavy lift applications. Be bold and take the leap!
