Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced 7.5T Driver to become an integral part of their team. This role involves driving and lifting, providing a vital service as part of a two-man crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for making approximately 45 drops per shift, ensuring timely and safe delivery of items to their customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle on scheduled routes.
Complete up to 45 multi-drop deliveries per shift.
Lift and deliver items up to 160 kg using appropriate lifting aids.
Ensure compliance with tachograph regulations and maintain accurate manual entries.
Work collaboratively with a partner driver to provide excellent customer service.
Shift Pattern:
Five days on, three days off
Options: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
Start Time: 06:00
Average Hours: 48 hours per week
Requirements:
Valid 7.5T driving license and CPC certification.
Digital tachograph card.
Proven experience in multi-drop driving.
Ability to lift heavy items and use lifting aids safely.
Strong understanding of tachograph compliance and manual entry.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Additional Information:
A drug & alcohol test will be required before your assessment.
Initial probation period of three months.
