ROLE PURPOSE As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining dynamic, user-friendly websites and applications built on the Umbraco platform. Having had previous experience, you will work with an enthusiastic team on specific projects aligned to the organisations strategic road map. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Technical design, development, and testing of new and existing websites using the Umbraco CMS Create custom Umbraco integrations, components, and templates that meet the functional and aesthetic needs of the project. Work with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) to create responsive, user-friendly web pages. Develop and integrate back-end systems using C# and .NET technologies. Implement API integrations for third-party services and ensure smooth data flow between systems. Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and scalability. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during development or post-launch. Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies related to Umbraco and full-stack development. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Essential Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET framework. Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular is a plus. Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services. Knowledge of SQL and working with SQL Server databases. Experience with version control tools such as Git. Understanding of SEO best practices, site performance optimization, and web security principles. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Desirable Experience with Umbraco CMS, including custom plugin development, templates, and API integration.
