Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 Benefits
Permanent: Full Time (36.25 hours per week), Part Time considered

As the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacture of precision-engineered products while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities for the Operations Manager:
* Lead and coordinate activities across Production, Supply Chain, and QHSE.
* Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, from CNC machining to assembly and final testing.
* Deliver monthly operational KPIs, ensuring accurate reporting and actionable insights.
* Drive inventory and stock management strategies to support production efficiency and cost control.
* Support the QHSE Manager on the path to ISO9001 certification, ensuring processes, systems, and documentation meet required standards.
* Oversee the smooth transfer of new products from R&D into manufacturing.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
* Manage facilities maintenance to ensure a safe and effective workplace.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
About You:
* Proven experience in an operations role within an electro-mechanical or high-tech manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, electronic & mechanical assembly, and product testing.
* Collaborative leadership style, able to inspire cross-functional teams and drive performance through KPIs.
* Hands-on experience with ISO9001 quality systems and the implementation of standards.
* Track record in lean initiatives, operational excellence, and process improvement.
* Experience with ERP systems and stock/materials management.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* HND or Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central.
* Experience with ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.
