Location: Stoke On Trent
Salary: Up to £57,000 (+£5,000 Welcome Bonus)
Bonus : Annual - performance related
OTE in 1st year: £72,760
Pryda Recruitment is proud to be representing a market leading children's residential care provider with a very exciting registered manager opportunity.
Were looking for a passionate and committed Registered Manager to lead a fantastic dedicated team within a 5 bedded Activity home. This service is unique as it supports YP (CCE/EBD) for 12 week placements. Working with Young People using a therapeutic model, whilst they engage with nature and outdoor activities.
You will have access to support from:
Peripatetic Manager plus excellent regional manager
Practitioner Psychologist
Therapist
Sexual Harmful Behaviour Advisor
Exploitation Advisor
Specialist Police Advisor
Therapeutic Practice Trainer
Educational Psychologists.
You will also have two deputy managers supporting you within your inhouse staff team plus a part time administrator!
Your Role as a Registered Manager
Lead with vision, compassion and integrity, ensuring children receive outstanding care, support and guidance tailored to their individual needs.
Be the voice and advocate for both your team and the children, creating a home where safety, respect and aspirations thrive.
Empower your team to deliver therapeutic, child-centred care that leads to real, lasting outcomes .
Build a home culture that is warm, inclusive, and resilient, where young people feel safe, valued and inspired.
Oversee all operational aspects, including safeguarding, care planning, compliance, and team development.
Mentor and develop staff, cultivating future leaders through coaching, supervision and training (including QCF Level 3 facilitation).
Lead service development, budget management and continuous improvement across all areas of home performance.
What you'll need to apply
A minimum of 3 years management experience and held an Ofsted registration working within a children's home setting - Essential
Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young Peoples workforce- Essential
Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification)- Essential
Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989, Children's home regulations- Desirable
Experience of budgets and financial management- Desirable
A full driving licence- Essential
Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties- Essential
A passion for the outdoors and outdoor activities- Essential
