Our client is looking to recruit a Client Manager to assist in running their accountancy firm based in Aylesbury. The role requires an accountant with UK accounting and staff management experience.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supervising and reviewing monthly and year-end management accounts
2. Providing tax advisory services
3. Supervising and reviewing statutory accounts preparation and tax returns
4. Supervising and reviewing Personal Tax Returns
5. Supervising and reviewing VAT work
6. Aspiring to grow the practice
Requirements:
1. Ideally 5 years’ experience working in an Accountancy Practice with similar responsibilities
2. Knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax, regulations, and practices
3. Experience using Sage Line 50 / Sage Payroll / IRIS Accounts Production / CCH
4. Excellent Excel skills
5. Strong management and communication skills
6. Commercial awareness, analytical skills, and high attention to detail
7. Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
