We’re a market leader in the design and manufacture of our product, and we’re looking for a talented Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a role where your expertise will be recognised, and your contribution will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding quickly to breakdowns and maintaining multiple machine types
* Carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant and equipment
* Conducting effective preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and optimise output
* Identifying root causes of failure using strong problem-solving skills
* Ensuring all maintenance is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
* Supporting continuous improvement projects and plant upgrades
* Maintaining great housekeeping and engineering standards
Experience and Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
* Skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
* City &; Guilds Level 2, ONC/HNC, Higher Level Apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
* 17th or 18th Edition (preferred)
* PLC experience plus knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematic drawings (preferred)
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
