Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to materials handling, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods.
* Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements.
* Perform picking and packing duties, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
* Stock shelves and organise inventory to maintain an orderly warehouse environment.
* Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with standards.
* Load and unload goods from lorries, handling heavy lifting as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
Experience
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment, including forklifts.
* Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for performing minor maintenance on equipment.
* Experience with quality control processes is beneficial.

Pay: £12.21-£13.69 per hour
