Location: St Godric’s Catholic Primary School, Carrhouse Drive, Framwellgate Moor, Durham DH1 5LZ. Grade: Grade B, SCP 3 (£24,796 per annum, pro rata). Hours: 6 Hours and 15 Minutes per Week, Term Time Only (38 Weeks per Year), Permanent.
St Godric’s Catholic Primary School is part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. The trust is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England with 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive and growing team.
Responsibilities
* Supervising pupils during the lunch time period, including hand washing and preparation for lunch.
* Supervising children during lunchtimes in school and on the playground.
* Encouraging children with food, promoting good manners and healthy choices.
* Assisting to clear tables, wipe down and maintain general cleanliness of the lunch area.
* Communicating effectively with pupils, maintaining good behaviour according to the school’s behaviour policy.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience working with children.
* Ability to work well in a team and support the Christian ethos of the school.
* This post is not open to job share.
* Any offer of employment will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
