This is a rare opportunity to join a large, UK-headquartered international manufacturer entering an exciting phase of growth, automation and strategic investment. With the support of new owners and a clear transformation roadmap, the business is scaling rapidly with procurement at the front and centre of that journey.
They are seeking a Senior Buyer to take ownership of key capital procurement and indirect spend across a growing multi-site UK network. You'll manage high-value sourcing projects - from packaging machinery to site services working cross-functionally with engineering, technical, and operations teams.
This role would suit someone with experience in Indirect Procurement or Capex & MRO, who's looking for a more visible, value-driving position in a forward-thinking and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
6. Lead end-to-end procurement for Capex and Indirect projects, from supplier selection to contract execution and performance tracking
7. Support group-wide investment plans across equipment, automation, engineering services, and infrastructure upgrades
8. Engage with OEMs, contractors, and service providers to ensure value, compliance, and innovation
9. Drive commercial negotiations and procurement compliance, contributing to continuous improvement across spend areas
10. Partner with engineering and technical stakeholders to shape and align procurement strategy with future business needs
Your Background
11. 3+ years' experience in indirect procurement, ideally with exposure to Capex, MRO, or engineering related categories
12. Confident managing stakeholders across engineering, operations, and project teams
13. Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating high-value contracts
14. Familiarity with spend areas such as packaging machinery, conveyors, weighing systems, or site services is a bonus
15. Practical, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
