Some children need more than lessons. They need stability.
A specialist setting in Peterlee is recruiting a full-time SEN TA to support pupils aged 8–15 with complex needs and emotional regulation difficulties.

Role Expectations
• 1:1 and small group academic support
• Regulation room supervision
• Behaviour logging
• Structured lunchtime engagement
• Supporting literacy correction in lessons

Daily Structure
Morning check-ins, active classroom involvement, supervised social time and end-of-day reporting until 4:00pm.

• Team Teach available long term

Experience & Pay
SEN or care experience desirable.
Trainee scale considered for strong applicants.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
