Our Gallagher Commercial team is seeking an ambitious and engaging Account Manager to join our successful team of desk-based Account Executives in Belfast. You will join a cohesive and collaborative group of highly experienced professionals who pride themselves on their established reputation. Your role involves providing excellent and varied services to our customers, with the main aim of achieving optimal account retention and growth through account management, broking, and technical support. How you'll make an impact
1. Build & maintain relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues.
2. Review and understand client needs and exposures, offering excellent customer service, suitable risk solutions, technical advice, and positive outcomes.
3. Produce professional documentation for clients and insurers using Gallagher systems and documentation suite.
4. Ensure all information is accurately recorded and timely added to the system.
5. Check insurer documentation for accuracy and issue to clients following Evidence of Cover requirements.
6. Follow Gallagher Standard Operating Procedures and best practices.
7. Handle account queries and credit control matters.
8. Develop and maintain product knowledge, keeping up-to-date with market changes.
9. Meet team targets and Key Performance Indicators.
10. Set personal development objectives with the Commercial Team Leader.
11. Contribute to business development aligned with team and company standards.
About You
* Experience in the Insurance Industry.
* Good knowledge of general insurance products, services, and legal principles.
* Previous use of Acturis system is advantageous.
* Strong customer service skills and rapport building.
* Problem-solving and analytical skills to recognize risks and escalate appropriately.
* Excellent time management, organizational, and administrative skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
* Working towards or holding Cert CII/Dip CII qualification.
* GCSE standard education or equivalent.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
