Key Responsibilities
* Support children aged 0-19 with motor skills difficulties across Poole, Bournemouth, and East Dorset.
* Drive service development and clinical excellence, ensuring the highest standards of care.
* Work across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, nursery, and school visits.
Team Lead Responsibilities
* Provide strong operational and clinical leadership (over 4 days a week).
* Build effective relationships across healthcare, education, statutory, and voluntary agencies.
* Manage resources to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
* Inspire and develop your team, fostering a culture of compassionate leadership.
* Lead by example, including working on weekends, on-call, and twilight rotas as per profession.
Professional Responsibilities
* Provide leadership for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, apprentices, assistants, and students to deliver specialized assessment, treatment, and advice services for children (0-19 years).
* Demonstrate evidence-based expertise in paediatric assessment and treatment across various conditions.
* Ensure safe, effective, and efficient service delivery within the team.
* Drive quality improvement, service evaluation, audit, and research to promote best practices locally and nationally.
* Support strategic planning and transformation of therapy services in line with UHD initiatives.
* Educate, supervise, and develop team members, fostering lifelong learning.
Candidate Profile
* 6+ years' postgraduate paediatric experience.
* Proven leadership and management experience in paediatric therapy.
* Track record in service development and implementing change.
* Collaborative and innovative mindset with a passion for children's health and outcomes.
