Are you able to inspire and lead people when it comes to rehoming dogs?
We are looking for someone who can manage the day to day running of our rehoming centre and team, instilling a culture of high performance whilst driving and hitting targets. You will work closely with your management team to ensure all our dogs needs are being met whilst supporting our employees and volunteers development.
What does this role do?
As Rehoming Manager you will:
* Promote a culture of rehoming across the whole centre team, maximising the effectiveness of interactions and their conversion to adoptions.
* Lead, manage and develop a team with direct or related responsibility for the effective and
successful rehoming of the maximum number of dogs in our care. Instilling a performance based
approach, focussed on meeting both objective based and customer service targets.
* Working with Operations Manager to optimise kennel occupation.
* Working with Welfare Manager to ensure appropriate assessment and triage of dogs is completed.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all public facing activities, focusing on the development and well-being of colleagues, a consistently positive experience for volunteers.

This role is responsible for all activities that promote and deliver the most effective and efficient rehoming of dogs in our care, whether in centre or in a home environment. Lead and manage a team who will support you in the day-to-day coordination of the rehoming process, ensuring all development needs are met and instilling a culture of high performance which is target driven and take a data driven approach to performance management and improvement. As part of the centre management team, the Rehoming Manager will contribute to the overall management of the centre as Duty Manager and covering for management colleagues in their absence.
This role has the option of Live in onsite.
