We currently have a strong portfolio of interesting hydropower and pumped storage projects worldwide and are currently growing our team of engineers. We are now looking to expand our team with a graduate mechanical engineer during summer 2026.


Duties and responsibilities

We are looking for a talented and motivated graduate mechanical engineer to join our team working on renewable energy and industry projects around the world. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and be able to apply them to a variety of projects, and should be motivated to build a specialisation within hydropower and pumped storage projects. You will be responsible for carrying out calculations, designing systems, preparing specifications and preparing reports.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out mechanical calculations for our hydropower and pumped storage projects
* Prepare reports and specifications
* Liaise with clients
* Liaise with colleagues, including senior/principal engineers and other colleagues
* Attend site visits to existing and proposed hydropower plants (predominantly overseas)


Qualifications and requirements

* Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) with an interest or focus on hydropower and pumped storage
* Interest for and understanding of mechnical (electro‑mechnical and hydro‑mechanical) engineering principles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
