Our client is a fast-growing, founder-led DTC beauty brand. As they continue to scale, they are looking for a People & Culture Manager to help bring structure to their people processes, support their managers, and create a positive, high-performing work environment.
The Role
This hands-on role is at the heart of our client’s people strategy, created to strengthen alignment between leadership and employees. You’ll act as a trusted liaison between the founders, managers, and teams. Communicating leadership priorities, highlighting employee insights, and ensuring open, consistent dialogue.
By improving day-to-day people operations, shaping culture, and supporting managers, you’ll help build a high-performing, inclusive, and engaging workplace as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations & Foundations
* Lead and continuously improve core people processes across the employee lifecycle.
* Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences.
* Maintain and evolve policies and processes that support scalable growth.
* Build operational foundations that make day-to-day people management seamless and effective.
Manager Enablement & Capability Building
* Partner closely with managers to strengthen people management skills.
* Provide practical guidance on feedback, development, and team leadership.
* Support consistent and effective approaches to managing high-performing teams.
Performance & Development
* Drive the rollout and ongoing management of performance and development frameworks.
* Encourage a culture of regular feedback, goal setting, and accountability.
* Assist managers in fostering high performance and continuous growth across teams.
Culture, Communication & Employee Alignment
* Act as a key liaison between leadership and employees, ensuring transparent communication of organisational priorities and employee insights.
* Facilitate alignment between company vision, culture, and people initiatives across all teams.
* Gather and share employee feedback to inform leadership decisions and improve engagement.
* Shape and nurture a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture through practical initiatives and day-to-day support.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a People/HR role (e.g., People Manager, HR Advisor, HR Business Partner) with a track record of driving meaningful impact.
* Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, adapting quickly and effectively to change.
* Hands-on and proactive, able to identify challenges and implement solutions independently.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, building trust with leaders and employees alike.
* Skilled at balancing structure with flexibility, creating processes that scale while remaining practical.
* Experience designing, implementing, or improving HR and people processes to support organisational growth.
* Proven ability to support managers through conflict resolution, performance challenges, and complex people situations.
