Classroom Supervisor / Supply Teacher / Cover Supervisor
Location: Whitehaven, Workington, and Allerdale
Pay: £90 - £130 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Part-time, Day-to-Day, and Long-term opportunities available
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)

Are you looking for a flexible role that fits around your lifestyle? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking adaptable and motivated individuals to work as Classroom Supervisors, Supply Teachers, and Cover Supervisors across a variety of Secondary Schools in West Cumbria.
This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver pre-planned lessons and gain invaluable experience in a classroom setting without the pressures of planning and marking.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Management: Confidently manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for all students.
Lesson Delivery: Follow and deliver pre-set lesson plans across various subjects, ensuring students stay on task and complete their work.
Student Engagement: Actively support students with their learning, answering questions and providing guidance where needed.
Policy Adherence: Uphold school policies regarding safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety.
Requirements
We welcome applications from individuals with various backgrounds. You will need:
A University Degree OR a recognized Teaching Qualification.
Alternatively, proven experience working within a classroom or school-based environment.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
A resilient, "can-do" attitude and a passion for supporting young people.
Transferable Skills
Even if you haven't been a teacher before, we value skills from other sectors, including:
Strong Communication: The ability to explain tasks clearly to groups of teenagers.
Leadership: Experience in coaching, mentoring, or managing people.
Adaptability: The ability to think on your feet and handle changing schedules.
