Job Title: Building Safety Manager Location: Stafford with regular travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire Salary: £39,922.49 per annum plus Essential Car User allowance Job Type: Fixed term contract for 12 months We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Building Safety Manager to support the delivery of compliance and safety management across residential and commercial properties. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse property portfolio, ensuring high standards of building safety and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice and guidance on building safety regulations, including fire, gas, asbestos, and water hygiene. Implement and manage compliance control policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with current legislation (e.g. ACOP L8, LOLER, PUWER). Ensure buildings meet required standards for fire life safety systems installation and maintenance. Oversee the management of legionella control in line with ACOP L8. Maintain asbestos registers and ensure effective control measures are in place. Ensure compliance with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations. Conduct risk assessments and site inspections across multiple commercial and residential locations. Manage commercial contracts and procurement processes for services and safety-related products. Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a positive culture of safety and compliance. Produce detailed reports on safety performance, risk areas, and compliance audits.
