Role overview:
To negotiate and manage the procurement function and negotiate priced agreements on behalf of Everwarm always ensuring best value for money and adherence to the group supply chain strategies and purchasing policy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing awareness of legislation affecting Procurement & Commercial activities
* Understanding of purchasing processes
* Assist in the execution of the full contract cycle
* Understanding of the purchasing policy and processes
* Takes cognizance of relationships within the internal team and with sub-contractors and suppliers
* Knowledge of the tendering process
Key Performance Indicators:
* Contribution to the Procurement Key Performance Indicators to assist the department’s annual targets
* Contribution to tendering and contract review process
* Prompt agreement of changes and budget increases / payment
* Contribution to the timely production of purchasing and procurement information
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
* Relevant degree or HND/HNC level or CIPS Level 3 - desirable
* Previous relevant work experience
* Literate and numerate team player
* IT skills including Word, Excel, Power point

* Salary - £26,000 to £31,000 (depending on experience)
