About us
Swan London operates the bar, restaurant, courtyard and event spaces attached to Shakespeare’s Globe on Bankside. The long-term contract is run by a privately owned limited company called Swan at the Globe Ltd which comprises of high-quality restauranteurs, chefs, event sellers and creators.
Swan London serves the audience at The Globe, Londoners at large and many tourists. Swan London manages the sale of events at Shakespeare’s Globe and in other central London venues. It has an events target of £4m. The two key on-site event spaces at the Globe are the Balcony Room and the Under globe. Events range from high-end, creative immersive experiences to bespoke events for Shakespeare’s Globe itself. Our clients are blue chip corporates, top agents, and HNW individuals.

Offer
* Salary between £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on the experience)
* 45 hours a week
* Up to 20% quarterly Bonus based on KPIs including achievement of budget
* Pension contribution is standard at 3% employer with 2% employee.

Key Responsibilities:
* Respond promptly to client inquiries (within 2 hours) and prepare customized event proposals.
* Manage event logistics, including menus, entertainment, AV, and supplier coordination.
* Conduct site visits and client tastings to ensure a premium experience.
* Prepare contracts, event summaries, and invoices accurately.
* Proactively develop new business and maintain strong client relationships.
* Collaborate with the operations team for seamless event delivery.
* Meet sales targets and contribute ideas to improve efficiency.
* Active & engaged member of the sales team.
* Approachable and outgoing sales manner.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Achieving revenue and profit targets.
* Timely response to client inquiries.
* Maintaining professionalism and positive client interactions.
