We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-driven SOP & Risk Assessment Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and review of operational procedures and risk assessments across our warehouse and logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. About You Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities Conduct thorough Risk Assessments and implement control measures Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, including COSHH, PUWER, and LOLER Collaborate with operational teams to identify hazards and improve safety practices Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings Support audits and inspections from internal and external bodies Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems Qualifications & Experience NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) IOSH Managing Safely (essential) Experience in warehouse, logistics, or industrial environments Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation Excellent communication and documentation skills Proficient in MS Office and safety management systems Desirable Skills Experience with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001) Training in manual handling, fire safety, or first aid Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels Benefits Competitive salary and annual bonus Company pension scheme Career development and training opportunities On-site parking Supportive team culture About Us About us GSF Car Parts is one of the UK’s leading automotive parts distributors, supplying thousands of independent garages throughout the UK and Ireland with parts, tools, garage equipment and specialist training.
