We are seeking an experienced Hire Desk Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations and ensure the efficient running of our Bristol hire desk. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily allocation of assets and labour. Manage inbound telephone enquiries, ensuring all customer requests are handled promptly and professionally. Liaise with operatives to ensure all necessary information is provided ahead of works commencing. Prepare and issue contracts, job sheets, and operator tickets. Ensure operative training and medical certifications remain current and compliant with company policies. Source plant, labour, and equipment from external suppliers when required. Communicate with customers to confirm site‑specific requirements prior to attendance. Maintain up‑to‑date inspection records for cranes and yard equipment in line with LOLER regulations.
