A bit about the role
As a Senior Functional Consultant specialising in SAP MM with strong SAP SD expertise, you will lead the design and delivery of integrated SAP S/4HANA solutions spanning the full procure‑to‑pay (P2P) and order‑to‑cash (OTC) lifecycle.
This is a senior, client‑facing role where you will shape solution approaches, advise stakeholders on best practice across both P2P and OTC cycles, and ensure end‑to‑end delivery excellence. You will act as a trusted advisor, contribute to pre‑sales activity, and play a key role in building our Supply Chain consulting capability.
What you’ll be doing
Key tasks and responsibilities of this role will include:
* Leading delivery of S/4HANA solutions across MM and SD, designing fully integrated P2P and OTC processes covering purchasing, inventory, sales orders, delivery, pricing and billing.
* Running workshops to gather and challenge business requirements across materials management, procurement, sales and logistics, ensuring consistent, cross‑functional process design.
* Translating business needs into scalable end‑to‑end S/4HANA solutions that leverage both MM and SD capabilities.
* Overseeing configuration, testing and defect resolution across MM, IM, LE and SD components with focus on smooth process flow between buying, receiving, selling, delivering and invoicing.
* Managing integration touchpoints with PP/MRP, PM, EWM/WM and FI/CO to ensure cohesive end‑to‑end supply chain and commercial processes.
* Supporting data migration for materials, vendors, customers, pricing and inventory.
* Leading pre‑sales through RFPs, demos, scoping and estimations.
* Coaching junior team members across both MM and SD skill areas.
What we want from you
* Extensive SAP MM expertise with strong hands‑on SAP SD capability, across ECC and S/4
* Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end P2P (MM) and OTC (SD) cycles and how they interact.
* Experience leading functional workstreams on complex SAP programmes.
* Solid understanding of MM–SD integration and wider integration with PP/MRP, PM, EWM/WM and FI/CO.
* Practical experience in configuration, testing and solution design experience across both modules.
* Confident workshop facilitation and ability to translate business requirements into clear solution designs.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Desirable: knowledge of Ariba or Invoice Management.
