Job Title: Business Developer / Sales Development Representative
We are collaborating with a leading savings and investment specialist to recruit a skilled and experienced Sales Advisor with financial services knowledge to join their team.
Responsibilities:
1. Promote the growth of the Society through a membership-led contact strategy, utilizing multiple marketing channels and stakeholder engagement.
2. Provide pensions information and solutions for members approaching retirement.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including Police Federation, Superintendents' Association, NPCC, NARPO, and other Staff Associations within UK police forces.
4. Generate leads for presentations and events to build regional presence and promote the client's products.
5. Offer technical and legislative guidance on Police and Police Staff pensions through in-person and virtual meetings.
6. Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan promotional activities and generate new business leads.
7. Research and identify new business opportunities.
8. Manage your diary and travel commitments effectively, including the wider Field Team calendar.
9. Maintain the CRM system and update call trackers with inbound and outbound calls.
10. Support additional tasks within your area of expertise as needed.
Essential and Desirable Criteria:
* Excellent communication skills
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently
* Passionate and enthusiastic attitude
* Degree or equivalent education
* Financial services qualification
* Knowledge of police pensions
* Proven track record in a regulated financial services environment
* Experience in training and presenting
* Ex-police officers with financial services knowledge are encouraged to apply
