* Validating contractor-submitted costs against actual spend
* Ensuring accurate cost control throughout the project lifecycle
* Preparing financial reports and forecasts
* Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders on financial matters
* Managing cost-related risks and opportunities
* Maintaining accurate cost documentation
* Providing financial insights for decision-making
Job Requirements:
* Significant experience in cost management within infrastructure sectors (Energy, Highways, Nuclear, Water, Rail)
* Experience with rail infrastructure projects is preferred
* Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
* Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Understanding of project management principles
* Relevant degree or professional qualification in cost management or related field
