The Education and Training Specialist will develop and administer education/training programs to support customer projects and internal employee development. Responsibilities include assessing training needs, creating training materials, delivering in-person training sessions, and ensuring quality and compliance.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Conduct analysis for Education and Training activities to formulate project plans.
2. Perform Training Needs Analysis for individual and group programs.
3. Design training programs based on analyses.
4. Review Training Needs and Design products with stakeholders to establish outcomes.
5. Develop and promote professional standards in training.
6. Support staff training development and delivery.
7. Plan and prepare for global training/education events.
8. Deliver training to all levels of target audiences.
9. Assess training effectiveness and comprehension.
10. Provide ongoing support and coaching to staff.
11. Mentor engineering, instructional, support, and management staff.
12. Assist in planning the business training strategy.
13. Manage training budgets.
14. Implement best practices in business administration for training.
15. Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety measures are followed.
16. Maintain education and training quality standards.
17. Support project management for training initiatives.
18. Interpret customer requirements and conduct scoping studies.
19. Develop and update training materials.
20. Review technical documentation and drawings.
21. Deliver instruction and conduct product QA.
22. Perform post-project evaluations and lessons learned.
23. Review technical documents and contribute to personnel development.
Apply if you have most of the following:
* Experience in training development under tight deadlines.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Knowledge of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT), managing safety, project management, military publications, configuration management, and documentation control.
* Proven experience in training, instructional coaching, and understanding of military environments and procedures.
* Engineering background in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
* Ability to conduct technical authoring.
* Understanding of the Defence environment and standards.
* Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
* Experience working within a multi-skilled engineering or manufacturing team.
